Recently America’s secretaries of state and defense announced a 25% increase in military aid to Israel, raising the amount of money Israel’s military receives yearly from the United States from $2.4 billion to $3.0 billion. But just to hedge its bets, America also increased military aid to Egypt to $1.3 billion a year. There are many types of foreign aid, all counterproductive, but in this article I shall concentrate on military aid.
